From your workspace, choose Import project. This is where anything you built on Lovable, Bolt, Base44, or a similar builder comes in.
Public repositories can be read directly from their GitHub link. Connect GitHub only when the repository is private. We only read the code you point us at.
Before anything is charged, we show you a breakdown of what we detected: the framework, package manager, build commands, and key dependencies. If part of it isn't supported, we say so up front and you can still bring over everything that is.

Imports work with a Founder plan — starting at $99 a month. After you subscribe, Vision scans your project for free, shows a scope assessment, and keeps your building activity visible as a simple usage indicator. Larger repositories may need additional passes.

Which link do I paste — http or https?
Either works, but https is best. Just copy the github.com address from your browser bar, like https://github.com/your-name/your-project. For a project built on Lovable, connect it to GitHub first (in Lovable: + menu → GitHub), then paste that github.com link — not the lovable.dev link.
Do I have to sign up before importing?
Yes. The import lands inside a project in your workspace, so you need an account for it to live in. You can create a free account to estimate scope; importing requires an active Founder plan.
What if my project isn't on GitHub?
Push it to a GitHub repository first — most builders have a one-click GitHub export. Once it's there, follow the steps above. If you get stuck, email us and we'll walk you through it.
What if part of my project isn't supported?
We import everything we can read and give you a list of what we couldn't. You still get the code and a working project to build on.
Does my old project stop working?
No. Importing copies your code — nothing is removed from wherever it lives now.
